First i wanted to share 2 cards i made before i left. Pretty happy about how it turned out. The blue CS is one of the new colours that i am just in love with! The second one is a wedding card i made for my cousin. You can see pics of that wedding on my facebook, because i'm too lazy to upload the pics here too. hehehe
We first went to Jasper where we went on the tramway up the mountain. once you get to the top, you can then climb to the very top of the mountain. Roddy and Hannah took off on their own as Abby couldn't keep up. We kept stopping along the way and stopped and waited about 1/2 way up. I was so suprised that she made it that far. She just kept telling me that she could go more and more, but it got to the point where it was just to steep for her. Here are some pics of Hannah close to the top, and a pic when we met up again.
Next it was off to the hotel, and we weren't sure how well the sleeping was going to go....but it turned out ok, but roddy and i tip toed around for a few hours until we were ready to sleep. The most exciting part was that the hotel had robes! I have never stayed at a hotel with a robe, so that was fun.
The girls got to do a lot of stuff there. They rode and fed the horsey named Snap, went fishing with their grandpa, swam in Big Lake, and had a great time with their grandparents. Roddy and I also went shootin'! Yee haw was it fun. We shot skeets that another person threw into the air with a skeet shooter. Notice how the gun jolts me so much and not roddy! Here's some pics and videos! Aren't you lucky!
Snap gets terribly excited when it is time for his feed in the afternoon. George always has to run to make sure he doesn't get trampled! The girls thought it was hilarious!
George said that Hannah held onto the saddle horn for dear life and Abby just held on to the reins like it was no problem....this totaly illustrates their personalities. Hannah is so scared about everthing, and Abby will try anything!
Next was fishing. We didn't catch anything and were pretty sad as we made it back to shore. As Roddy was reeling in Hannah's fishing rod, it felt like there was something pulling on the line and we were all exciting to see what it was. Out comes a large curved stick. Hannah was just so excited and declared it the letter C and renamed the lake, "Alphabet Lake". She was so thrilled and i'm gald we caught the stick because she was just a happy if we would have caught a real fish! I added the pic of roddy because i thought he looked so cute in the coat he borrowed from george.
We finally had a warm enough day that the girls could go swimming in the lake on the last day. As usual Abby was all about getting the water and Hannah took coaxing to get in. She went exploring with her dad who let her have this beer bottle that she filled up with "treasures". We told her we would hide it in the bushes so it would be there the next time we came. Oh dear. I really didn't want to take it home though....
We then drove to Kamloops to see Roddy's aunt and uncle and then on to Kelowna. We tried to do two different activities but it was raining, so as we were driving we saw the mini golf and pulled in. The girls played a round of mini golf, which they did very well at, and then on the the rides they have there. They were so excited to go on all the rides they have at the mall that I always say no about.
The next day roddy had to work so i took the girls to the "apple" mall as they call it. I rented a two seater fire truck and some time during the trip Abby took off her shoes and threw them on the floor. I searched the whole mall, and retraced my steps, even gave my phone number to the guest services desk and no luck. So THEN we went to probably 6 stores trying to find her some sandles. Some luck at the end of August. Finally at Zellers, we found a $5 pair. After i calmed down we went to the beach where roddy met us. It was a great time and a lot of fun, and made up for my stressful morning.
Hannah was pretty cold after her swim, so she spent the rest of the time warming up on the warm sand, while abby ate cookies.
We then drove to Calgary and spent the night in another hotel. Hannah woke up around 12:30 and thru up for the remainder of the night. We went to the zoo anyways and she rode in the wagon most of the time. They didn't enjoy the zoo as much as i thought. I don't think they still understand that those animals are rare and we get to see them at the zoo. So roddy and I just decided to enjoy it ourselves. Hence the one picture.
THE END.
Surpreeze!

I loved that whole ummm, thing. I was waiting for the report and you didn't let me down! The story of Abby's shoes is so classic and hilarious but most of all I loved the video at the very end, watched it about 7 times, then Gary said "Enough!". LOVE YOU ERIN!
